My new electronics project needed a custom connector pin housing. The header pins I got were great, but they lacked a housing to avoid accidental reverse insertion of the cable.
Instead of searching for where to buy, I quickly searched for a 3D model and found it online. A few minutes later, my 3D printer delivered the perfect fit. It's wild to think we've gone from just printing ideas on paper to printing physical objects.
If you can dream it, you can print it! This makes custom electronics so much easier, time-saving and more fun.
